Sharing thoughts
Another visit. When I am away too long, thoughts that I had intended to share have...gone on their way. But others remain, and so - time to add a word or two to this blog. There is a scripture (in Romans 5:20) which says that "when sin abounds, grace SUPERabounds." A young man who is a Greek scholar, translated those words this way: "When overflows, grace FLOODS in." An even better picture, for this one shows grace as actively aggressive. Wonderful!!! Another special word that has blessed me richly: POIEMA. Scripture tells us that we are God's masterpieces (Gr. POIEMA) - not only His creatures, but HIS creations, His "poems" (Eph. 2:10). We are His "living epistles" (2 Cor. 3:3), and so our lives are meant to be listened to, because it is GOD who is speaking in to, out of, and through them - through the parable of each day, the symphony of the years, and the masterpiece of a lifetime. Wow!!! Just think - each of our lives is indeed a poem, a parable. And all is HIS doing! Amen!
